A personal place to record and display my journey in engineering.

I am a mechanical engineer with an insatiable curiosity and a deep passion for learning and problem-solving. My education and experiences across Mexico, the U.S., and Canada have shaped me into a versatile engineer, always eager to explore new challenges and push the boundaries of innovation.

From the very beginning of my career, I have intentionally ventured into different areas of engineering—not just to gain technical expertise but to truly understand how things work from the ground up. I've worked as a mechanical designer, a traditional and CNC machinist, and a process coach engineer in assembly, welding (MIG and laser), and stamping processes. My journey has also taken me into automation, where I programmed PLCs, robots, and HMIs, and into engineering research, focusing on polymers and smart systems for agriculture.

My work has allowed me to contribute to a variety of industries, including automotive, industrial, energy, medical devices, aerospace, defense, and marine. I take pride in having a strong business acumen, ensuring that the technical solutions I develop not only push innovation forward but also create real impact—whether it’s through product development, process optimization, or cost-saving strategies.

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to lead technical teams, bringing together talent and ideas to drive projects to completion. My passion for automation and machine vision has led me to specialize in 2D and 3D machine vision, AI-driven defect inspection, process control, and large language models (LLMs) for manufacturing applications.

Beyond the technical side, I value the relationships I’ve built throughout my career. Having worked and collaborated with teams across Mexico, Costa Rica, Brazil, the U.S., Canada, Ireland, the U.K., Poland, Germany, Spain, India, and China, I have developed a global perspective and an appreciation for different ways of thinking. These experiences have shaped my approach to engineering—always open-minded, always learning, and always striving to create something meaningful.
